Therapy for Executives

Is your calendar full, but your heart feels empty?

You have a demanding job- deadlines, meetings, calls, a never ending barrage of emails and a calendar that is constantly changing.

You are more than busy.

You worked so hard in school, got the job you wanted- and the last thing you were going to do was slow down right?

The High Cost of Ambition

So you kept going, saying “yes” to every project, moving up the ladder for that dream position- or you got up there and realized you wanted to work for yourself. And we know what that means- activate business owner overdrive mode.

So then you spend another few years staking your claim for what you worked hard to achieve. But one day when you looked beside you to share your successes with someone, you realized you lost friends, hobbies or romantic relationships along the way.

Overbooked but Unfulfilled? This may be a sign to reset your career mindset.

Even if you love your job, you may begin feeling anxious, tired, numb, or like you are just “going through the motions” until you clock out, logout or sign off.

If this is you, these could be signs that this overbooked lifestyle isn’t working for you anymore. Now don’t lose it here; that doesn’t mean quit your job and start over, it means it’s time to recalibrate.

How Burnout Becomes the Norm

Across various industries, companies reward their executives for overworking themselves, or even worse-making it a regular expectation.

Chained to a phone, traveling constantly and working late leads many people to burning out in their line of work, but staying in it to make a living.

This cannot only come at the cost of workplace mental health, but lead to an overall lack of presence and fulfillment in other areas of life.

Redefining Success Through Boundaries and Priorities

Utilizing a holistic lens on mental health, I have supported many entrepreneurs, executives and C-suite individuals to interrupt this high demand cycle to bring an improved sense of balance into their lives.

By taking a step back to assess your priorities, we build boundaries to protect them so that you can be the person and professional you want to be.

The therapy process is different for everyone, and can be uncomfortable at times. Research has shown that overall, people typically feel some relief from their reporting symptoms after engaging in as few as 8 sessions of therapy.
No, only a professional with an MD can prescribe medications. This includes Psychiatrists, and General Practitioner medical doctors. If you already have a prescribing MD for your medications, you can sign a release of information so that I can communicate with your physician when necessary about your care to support your mental health goals.
